Mooting helps a law student to become familiar with law and litigation, with the same objective Rajasthan School of Law for Women organised a three day RSLW Second National Moot Court Training Workshop of which the Inaugural and First Session was conducted on 21st September 2023.
Inaugural Session : The Chief Guest for the Inaugural Session was Dr. Dev Swarup, Vice Chancellor of Baba Amte Divyang University, Jaipur. Justice P.C Jain Retd. Judge, Rajasthan High Court, Chairman, RSLW and Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi, Director, RSLW graced the session with their auspicious presence. Dr. Vartika Arora, Principal, RSLW, welcomed the guests and participants. Dr. Dev Swarup Sir enlightened the students with his knowledge and experience.
Session 1 : The First Session of the 3 days RSLW Second National Moot Court Training Workshop (Online) took place on 21st September 2023. The Session was regarding Fundamentals of Mooting and was taken by Mr. Gaurav Pathak.
Session 2 : The second session was on Mooting and Research, the speaker of this session was Mr. Navneet Solanki, CLAT and Judiciary Mentor, Founder – Director of Lawgica Educations.
Session 3 : The third session was on Drafting of Memorial, the speaker of this session was Ms. Ishita Rawat, Senior Associate, Vedanta Law Chamber, Jaipur.
Session 4 : The fourth session was on Formulation of Compendium, the speaker of the session was Mr. Jyotirmoy Banerjee, Lecturer (Integrated Law Programme), Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak.
Session 5 : The Fifth Session was regarding ‘Argumentation Skills‘ and was taken by Mr. Aditya Bohra, Senior Associate in Vedanta Law Chambers, Jaipur.
Session 6 : The Sixth Session was ‘The Courtroom Etiquettes‘ and was taken by Mr. Prashant Tripathi, Advocate and Founder-Partner of Pani & Tripathi Law Office, New Delhi.
Valedictory Session : The Valedictory Session of this RSLW Second National Moot Court Training Workshop (Online) was conducted on 23rd September 2023. The Chief Guest for the Valedictory session was Ma’am Dr. Sanjula Thanvi, Head and Dean, Department of Law, University of Rajasthan and Dean, Faculty of Law, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur. The session was graced with the auspicious presence of the Director, RSLW, Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi Ma’am. The valedictory was proceeded towards its end with the vote of thanks extended by Principal, RSLW, Dr. Vartika Arora Ma’am. The session was moderated by Ms. Daniya Roshan and the faculty members of RSLW.
