2nd Justice S.C. Agrawal Memorial Lecture

Rajasthan School of Law for Women in association with Rajasthan Education Trust organized “2nd Justice S.C. Agarwal Memorial Lecture” on 2nd March, 2024 on the topic” Public Interest Litigation: History , Challenges and Prospectus”. The Chief Guest and  Keynote Speaker for the Lecture was Shri Prashant Bhushan Sir (Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India) ,  Sir delivers a compelling discourse on the power and potential of Public Interest Litigation to effectuate positive societal change and while highlighting the importance of Public Intetest Litigation in his lecture, sir said  that it is  because of this process today we are seeing the the expansion of Fundamental Rights which are granted by Indian Constitution. 

The gathering was also graced by Various Eminent Dignitaries , Hon’ble Justice Shri P. C. Jain  ,  Justice Shri J.K. Ranka , Justice Prashant Agarwal , Justice Banwari Lal Sharma, Justice Meena Gomber , Smt. Aruna Roya , Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi , Dr. Rekha Bhatnagar and Dr. Vartika Arora. An Interactive Session was conducted after the lecture and the event was concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Vartika Arora( Principal RSLW).

PTM

23rd December 2023 : A Parent-Teacher Meeting was organized by Rajasthan School of Law for Women, Jaipur. The holistic development of the student is the result of hard work done by student and teachers. Through PTM college make an attempt to aware parents about the status of their ward. It was a great opportunity to expand the communication channel between the teachers and parents and gave them a forum to exchange observations on the overall performance of the student.

Teaching Assistant Session

16th December, 2023  : As a part of Students Development Programme, the college organized Teaching Assistance Session on the topic of “Case Brief“, wherein student of 9th Semester Hitaishee Sharma guided first semester students about writing and critical analysis of case laws. 

Roleplay and Monologue Competition

4th December, 2023: Rajasthan School of Law for Women had organised an Intra College Roleplay and Monologue Competition. College conducted this activity as part of Student Development Programme. This activity helped students in gaining knowledge regarding various sociolegal topics like Domestic violence, Female foeticide, Marital rape, Right to privacy, Artificial Intelligence ke Dushparinam, Women Exploitation, Virginity Testing, Child Trafficking, GST, Same Sex Marriage, Digital Arrest, Superstition. This competition was judged by Dharma ma’am and Asst. Professor Ms. Palak Vashisht and was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Vartika Arora, Principal Rajasthan School of Law for Women.

Mock Parliament

1st December, 2023 : As a part of Student development program Rajasthan School of Law for Women organised a Mock Parliament on the bill “One Nation, One Election” on 1st December, 2023. Mock parliament is a simulation of the parliamentary proceeding of legislature. Mock Parliaments are usually held as an educational tool to promote understanding of the working of government and to advocate social and political change. It helps the students to better understand the political system of the country.

Canonical Quiz Competition

On 20th October, 2023 Rajasthan School of law for Women organised Canonical Quiz Competition. The object of the competition was to test the knowledge of the subjects they have studied. The overall competition was a joyous activity with all the teams ending up gaining more knowledge about the disciplines. The topics of the competition for 1st and 3rd semester was Law of torts and Law of contract. The topic for 5th and 6th semester was Constitution of India. Total 34 teams participated in the competition.

2nd position: Chitrangda Singh and Daksheeja Sharma ( Semester 5)

The energy and enthusiasm of the students brightened the competition.

MUN

7th October, 2023 : As a part of Student Development Programme a MODEL UNITED NATIONS was organised in the Rajasthan School of Law for Women for semester VI students. Preparing and participating in a MUN helps students develop leadership skills, research, writing, public speaking, and problem-solving skills. Moreover, coming up with solutions that are acceptable to a majority of the representatives also inculcates skills of negotiation, conflict resolution, and cooperation. Students represented themselves as different countries and spoke on different agendas related to “The Hijab Row” and women’s right’s to name a few.

A resolution was passed at the end of the session. Best speakers were awarded by the Principal Dr. Vartika Arora. It was an enriching and productive activity for students which was conducted with the aim to keep students in touch with global trends that come under international law regime.

Group Discussion

28th September, 2023: On 28th September 2023, as a part of Student Development Programme a Group Discussion was organised in the Rajasthan School of Law for Women in semester-1. First topic that was enunciated by Niharika Singh Rajawat, on Right to privacy. There were various cases that were addressed by her. For instance, MP Sharma vs Satish Chandra (1954), Kharak Singh vs State of UP, and KS Puttaswamy vs Union of India.

The discussion was well articulated and coherent to the knowledge of the students.

The second discussion was on Mental health: a myth or veracious, it was discussed by Kanishka Verma, she meticulously stated all the attributes of mental health for instance the meaning, social stigma, provision which are implemented by the government.

She significantly said that awareness is beacon to help the society in order to deal with the horrendous and cumbersome mental health predicaments.

The questions were asked related to the following topics and were discussed comprehensively.

Hence the group discussion took place in a well organised manner, it is helpful for the holistic development of the student.

RSLW Second National Moot Court Training Workshop

Mooting helps a law student to become familiar with law and litigation, with the same objective Rajasthan School of Law for Women organised a three day RSLW Second National Moot Court Training Workshop of which the Inaugural and First Session was conducted on 21st September 2023.

Inaugural Session : The Chief Guest for the Inaugural Session was Dr. Dev Swarup, Vice Chancellor of Baba Amte Divyang University, Jaipur. Justice P.C Jain Retd. Judge, Rajasthan High Court, Chairman, RSLW and Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi, Director, RSLW graced the session with their auspicious presence. Dr. Vartika Arora, Principal, RSLW, welcomed the guests and participants. Dr. Dev Swarup Sir enlightened the students with his knowledge and experience.

Session 1 : The First Session of the 3 days RSLW Second National Moot Court Training Workshop (Online) took place on 21st September 2023. The Session was regarding Fundamentals of Mooting and was taken by Mr. Gaurav Pathak.

Session 2 : The second session was on Mooting and Research, the speaker of this session was Mr. Navneet Solanki, CLAT and Judiciary Mentor, Founder – Director of Lawgica Educations.

Session 3 : The third session was on Drafting of Memorial, the speaker of this session was Ms. Ishita Rawat, Senior Associate, Vedanta Law Chamber, Jaipur.

Session 4 : The fourth session was on Formulation of Compendium, the speaker of the session was Mr. Jyotirmoy Banerjee, Lecturer (Integrated Law Programme), Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak.

Session 5 : The Fifth Session was regarding ‘Argumentation Skills‘ and was taken by Mr. Aditya Bohra, Senior Associate in Vedanta Law Chambers, Jaipur. 

Session 6 : The Sixth Session was ‘The Courtroom Etiquettes‘ and was taken by Mr. Prashant Tripathi, Advocate and Founder-Partner of Pani & Tripathi Law Office, New Delhi.

Valedictory Session : The Valedictory Session of this RSLW Second National Moot Court Training Workshop (Online) was conducted on 23rd September 2023. The Chief Guest for the Valedictory session was Ma’am Dr. Sanjula Thanvi, Head and Dean, Department of Law, University of Rajasthan and Dean, Faculty of Law, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur. The session was graced with the auspicious presence of the Director, RSLW, Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi Ma’am. The valedictory was proceeded towards its end with the vote of thanks extended by Principal, RSLW, Dr. Vartika Arora Ma’am. The session was moderated by Ms. Daniya Roshan and the faculty members of RSLW.

Ice-Breaking Session

20th September, 2023: The Ice-Breaking Session held on September 20, 2023, was really encouraging for 1st semester students. It was thoughtfully orchestrated by senior students from the 6th and 9th semesters. It was a pivotal event, bridging the gap between incoming and senior students. It provided newcomers with essential guidance and a firsthand glimpse into the vibrant college community. The session covered the college’s rules, and the importance of self-discipline in law school, and provided insights on managing academics with co-curricular activities. It was an informative and inspiring start to the academic year, offering valuable guidance to the newcomers.

Debate Competition

15th September, 2023: As part of Student Development Programme, Rajasthan School of Law for Women organised Debate Competition on 15th September, 2023 on the topic ‘India vs Bharat’ for students of 1st Semester. The aim of organizing debate competition was to hone the public speaking skills of the students and teach them to be articulate while expressing their thoughts and opinions. The debate was conducted to build strong opinions of the students about the current political scenario.

Mock Parliament

2nd September,2023: As a part of Student development program Rajasthan School of Law for Women organised a Mock Parliament on the bill “Uniform Civil Code” on 2nd September 2023.  Mock parliament is a simulation of the parliamentary proceeding of legislature. Mock Parliaments are usually held as an educational tool to promote understanding of the working of government and to advocate social and political change. It helps the students to better understand the political system of the country. The discussion amongst students as parliamentarians was engaging and well researched.

MUN

26th August, 2023: As a part of Student Development Program, Rajasthan School of Law for Women organised a MUN session on 26th August 2023. The topic of MUN was “How Stringent are Environment Protection Laws”. MUN is an interactive educational activity in which students simulate the working of a respective countries allotted. This helped in overall-development and enhancement of knowledge of the student on different environmental law topics.

Intra College Debate Competition

19th August 2023 : As a part of Student development programme Rajasthan School of Law for Women organised a Debate Activity. The topic of debate was “Gender Neutral Laws in India“. The students participated in the huge number. Debate helps to develop essential critical thinking, organisation of thoughts, eloquence, oration skills and confidence. After the discussion, rebuttal round took place. Debate activity was productive and fruitful exercise enhancing their talent and improving their overall development.

Legal Quiz and Presentation

14th August, 2023 : “Engaging activities in the classroom ignite the spark of curiosity, transforming students into active learners and creators of knowledge.”

With the objective of retaining the knowledge acquired earlier, various group activities were organised by the students of Semester 2 to secure the enduring remembrance of lessons learned earlier.

The activities organised were in the form of a Legal Quiz and Presentations. Wherein, in the former, four teams participated with their prolific legal knowledge, which yielded in enhancing their knowledge on legal topics. And the latter, was structured into various groups, where students up skilled their confidence level and amplified their speaking proficiency. The topics of the presentations were based on the concepts like basics of contract, Free Consent of parties, Void agreements, Breach of contract, with an aim to refine their concepts in an advanced manner. These activities not only just helped in preserving the earlier assimilated knowledge, but also imbibed self confidence in every student and encourage them to explore beyond the textbooks and to reach new horizons of knowledge.

ORIENTATION DAY

Rajasthan School of Law for Women, Jaipur organized Orientation Day for Batch of 2023 on 5 August. The Chief Guest for the session was Mr. Anutosh Gupta, Secretary, Rajasthan High Court Legal Services Authority and Special Guest was Ms. Anju Charan, Prosecution Officer, CBI, Special Case Court. The event was also graced by Hon’ble Justice P. C. Jain, Chairman, Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi, Director, Mr. Vimal Kumar Bhatia, Secretary, Kanoria Girls College Trust.
 
7th August, 2023: The college Mr. Shashank Kasliwal, Advocate, Rajasthan High Court on ‘The importance of Internships in Legal Field’ on 7 August as a part of the Orientation Series, 2023.
 

8th August, 2023: The college organized a session on ‘How to conduct research work in reference to making of projects in B.A.LL.B  course’ by Dr Mayank Baranwal, Assistant Professor, Department of Law, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur as a part of orientation session.

10th August, 2023: The college organized a session on “Mooting and it’s significance in law” by Pranjul Chopra, Advocate Rajasthan High court as a part of orientation session.

11th August, 2023: The college organized a session on ‘Verbal and Written English and its Importance in Law’ by Mr. Shiprak Khandal, Verbal Ability Trainer, Jaipur as a part of orientation session.

12th August, 2023: The college organized a session on “Importance of Extra Curricular Activities in the field of law” by Dr. Abhinav Bhardwaj, Advocate, Rajasthan High court as a part of orientation session.

Intra Moot Court Competition 2023

The Moot Court Club of Rajasthan School of Law for Women organized Intra Moot Court Competition,2023.The Preliminary Round of the Competition was conducted on 12th June 2023. The Final round of the competition held on 14th June 2023.The judges for this round were Advocates of Rajasthan High Court , Mr. Mohit Khandelwal and Mr. Aditya Bohra. After the Final Round, the valedictory ceremony was conducted for which the chief guest was Mr. Sunil Nath, Senior Advocate and Partner in PKA Advocates. Sir said that Moot court Competitions help students to get prepared for the court proceedings.Sir emphasized the importance of Internship for the Law students.Sir advised students to develop a habit of spending atleast 3 hours in the library for study.Sir discussed about various career options in the field of law. Sir gave an insight about the role of Advocate as Doctor, Engineer, Accountant, Librarian and Language Expert. In the competition, the winner team was of Tanisha Vishnoi,Saloni Rathore and Upasana Verma of 8th semester.The Best Mooter Prize was bagged by Tanisha Vishnoi, Best Memorial Award was given to the team of Samiksha Sharma, Soumya Sharma and Kanishka Choudhary of 2nd semester.The 1st Runner up team was of Meenal Singh, Parul Rathore and Navita Jain of 4th semester.The 2nd runner up award was provided to the team of Poly Bhardwaj, Arti Singh and Priyan Sharma of 4th semester. All the winners and teams were awarded with the certificates.The Valedictory ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi Maam, Director, RSLW and Dr. Vartika Arora Maam, Principal, RSLW.The whole event was moderated by Dr. Disha Bangarva and Ms. Palak Vashistha, Assistant Professor, RSLW and the team of student coordinators namely, Daniya Roshan, Jyoti Sharma, Hiba Naaz and Mitsu Choudhary.The ceremony proceeded towards its end with the Thank you note extended by Ms. Khanjan Sharma, Assistant Professor, RSLW.

Parley 3.0 : National Debate Competition

On 5 and 6, June 2023, Rajasthan School of Law for Women in association with Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission organized Parley 3.0 National Debate Competition. 80 teams across India participated in the competition. Students from prominent educational institutions like Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad, National Law University, Odisha, Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad, Army Law College, Pune, Amity University, Noida, Christ University, Bangalore, University of Delhi, Central University Kashmir, Llyod Law College, Greater Noida, Law College Dehradun,Manipal University,etc.
INAUGURAL SESSION
Chief Guest for the Inaugural Session was Hon’ble Justice G.K. Vyas, Chairperson, Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission. The event was graced by Hon’ble Justice Pana Chand Jain, Chairman, RSLW, Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi, Director, RSLW and Dr. Vartika Arora, Principal RSLW.
PRELIMINARY ROUND
The topic was the round was ‘Legality of Internet Shutdown’. There were 5 parallel preliminary sessions and each round had 2 judges. The judges for the sessions were Ms. Atika Srivastava, Ms. Arti Sharma, Dr. Samrat Datta, Mr.Udit Kirori, Mrs. Aditya Jain, Mr. Tanmay Dhand, Mr. Madhav Dadhich, Ms. Parul Singh, Mr. Abhinav Kaushik, Mr. Vivek Shah.
SEMI-FINAL ROUND
The topic was this round was ‘Future of Artificial Intelligence’. 20 students qualified for the semi- final round. The judges of this round were Dr. Amit Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department of Law, Manipal University and Mr. Rajvendra Saraswat, Advocate, Rajasthan High Court.
FINAL ROUND
The topic for the final round was ‘Existence of Human Rights for victim and accused’. 6 participants qualified for the finals. The judges for the final round were Dr. Aabha Yadav, Faculty, National Law University, Delhi and Ms. Varsha Bissa, Advocate, Rajasthan High Court.
VALEDICTORY SESSION
The results of Parley 3.0 National Debate Competition were declared at the valedictory ceremony. The chief guest was Dr. Sudhi Rajiv, Vice Chancellor of Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communications, Jaipur and Vice Chancellor of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University (Additional Charge). The session was also presided over by Hon’ble Justice G.K. Vyas, Chairperson, Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission and the Guest of Honour was Mr. Shailendra Vyas, Registrar, Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission.

Orientation Session on Manupatra

An Orientation Session on ‘Manupatra’ by Mr. Rishabh Johari, State Head, Manupatra  was organized on 15 May, 2023. The session gave an insightful understanding to the students about the working of Manupatra.

Ambedkar Jayanti Celebration

On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, Rajasthan School of Law for Women organised a learning activity by screening the documentary ‘Samvidhan: The Making of the Constitution of India’ on 13th April, 2023.
After the screening, students presented their reports on the same which highlighted the contribution made by Dr. B.R Ambedkar in the drafting of the Constitution of India.

1st Justice S.C. Agrawal Memorial Lecture

On 29th of March, Rajasthan School of Law for Women in association with Rajasthan Education Trust organized 1st Justice S.C. Agrawal Memorial Lecture on the theme “Three Judgements Which Changed the Way we look at our Constitution“.
The Keynote Speaker was Hon’ble Mr. Justice Akil Kureshi (Former Chief Justice Of Rajasthan High Court) and was presided over by Hon’ble Mr. Justice M.M. Srivastav (Acting Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court). The event was also graced by Hon’ble Mr. Justice V.S. Dave (Former Judge, Rajasthan High Court), Hon’ble Justice Mr. J.K. Ranka (Former Judge, Rajasthan High Court), Hon’ble Justice P.C. Jain (Former Judge, Rajasthan High Court and Chairman, Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidhalya), Shri D.C. Agrawal (President, Rajasthan Education Trust).
Floral welcome of the Guest were done by Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi (Director, Rajasthan School of Law for Women) and Dr. Vartika Arora (Principal, Rajasthan School of Law for Women). The lecture was attended by eminent Advocate General, Additional Advocate General, Senior Advocates, Student and faculty members of various colleges.

Interactive Session with Dr. Adish C. Aggarwala (Sr. Advocate)

Department of Law, University of Rajasthan and Rajasthan School of Law for Women, Jaipur organised a Special Lecture by Dr. Adish C Aggarwala (Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India) on 25th February 2023. The other distinguished guests for the session were Dr. Neelam Goyal, Bharat Ki Parmanu Saheli, Mr. Shiv Charan Gupta, Advocate, Supreme Court of India and Shri Lakhpat B. Mehta, Advocate and Member, International Council of Jurist, London (U.K.). The session was also attended by Dr. Mayank Baranwal, Secretary, Staff Council, University of Rajasthan, Justice P.C. Jain (Retd. Judge, Rajasthan High Court), Chairman, RSLW, Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi, Director, RSLW and Dr. Vartika Arora, Principal, RSLW.
After formal welcome of all the dignitaries Dr. Adish C Aggarwala enlightened the gathering by his valuable words. Sir, shared his words of wisdom on the importance of correct language in the legal field and in court of law. Sir emphasised that every law student must present oneself as a lawyer and he also threw some light on how one can stay focused on one goal and how to avoid distractions. He also interacted with the students and answered their queries. Sir, conferred the membership of International Council of Jurist, London (U.K.) to the Principal and all the faculty members.
Further, Justice P.C. Jain enlightened the gathering with his words of wisdom and knowledge.
The session was attended by students and faculty members of various law colleges of Jaipur. Session was moderated by Ms. Neha Jasuja and Ms. Saloni Rathore and coordinated by Ms. Tanya Agarwal, Assistant Professor.
The session ended with the vote of thanks was given by Dr. Mayank Baranwal.

Interactive session with Journalist Ms. Barkha Dutt

On 23rd February 2023, Rajasthan School of Law for Women and Kanoria PG Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur jointly organised an interactive session with Padmashree Awardee Journalist Ms. Barkha Dutt, she is a founder-Editor of Mojo Story and We The Women.In this session students got an insight of Journalism, her experiences and ups and downs.She also encouraged the students to take journalism as their career path. At the end of the session Principal Dr. Vartika Arora of RSLW felicitated Ms. Barkha Datt and her entire team members.

Inter-College Debate Competition

An Inter-College Debate Competition in association with Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission on Human Rights Day was organized on 10th December, 2022 in the college. The chief guest for the event was Hon’ble Justice Shri G.K. Vyas, Chairman RSHRC. There were two rounds in the competition i.e., Preliminary and Final. 16 teams from all over the country participated in the competition.

Intra-College Debate Competition

The college organized an Intra-class debate competition on 26th November, 2022 to celebrate Constitution Day 26, November 2022. Topics for debate were ‘Public Interest Litigation as a tool of justice’ for Semester I which was won by Ms. Khanak Kumawat and Ms. Kritika. The topic for semester III was the ‘Efficiency of Indian Federal Structure’ which was won by Ms. Aarti Singh and Ms. Zoya Khan. ‘Euthanasia: Right to Life includes Right to Die’ was the topic for Semester IV and the winners were Ms. Sakshi Khandelwal and Ms. Daniya Roshan. The VII and IX semesters were given the topic ‘Media as a fourth pillar of democracy’ which was won by Ms. Mitsu Choudhary.

Workshop on Forensic Science

Forensic Science Workshop on the topic “Importance of Forensic Science in Criminal Investigation” was organized on 12th November, 2022. The expert luminary in the field Dr. V. N. Mathur was the guest of honour. He has served as the director of FSL, Rajasthan.

21st September, 2022:  Rajasthan School of Law for Women organized an orientation session on the ‘Importance of Internships in Legal Profession’ by Dr. Jaigop Bangarva, Advocate on Record, Supreme Court of India.

22nd September, 2022: Rajasthan School of Law for Women organized an orientation session on ‘Career in Law’ by Mr. Shubham Garg, Advocate, Rajasthan High Court.

ORIENTATION DAY

Rajasthan School of Law for Women organised Orientation Day on 23rd September 2022. The Chief guest for the event was Dr. Dev Swarup sir, founding Vice chancellor of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Jaipur, special guest was Mr. Mahaveer Saini, RJS. Event was presided over by Justice Pana Chand Jain Sir, Chairman RSLW, Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi, Director, RSLW and Dr. Vartika Arora, Principal, RSLW.

Anti-Drug Campaign

On 29th August, 2022 in reference to an anti-drug campaign students of Rajasthan School of Law for Women made and displayed posters at various places in college premises regarding the harmful effects of drugs of socio-economic life and health of a person.

Movie Screening : Boy in the Striped Pyjamas

The college on 4th June 2022 organized a learning activity which included screening of a movie “Boy in the Striped Pyjamas”. It is based on the 2006 novel of John Boyne. Set in World War II, the Holocaust drama relates the horror of a Nazi extermination camp through the eyes of a young boy.

Parley 2.0 : National Debate Competition

On 30th and 31st May 2022, Rajasthan School of Law for Women, Jaipur organized Parley 2.0 National Debate Competition. 86 teams across India participated in the competition. Students from prominent educational institutions participated in the event like IIT Kharagpur, Symbiosis Law School, Jamia Millia Islamia, Christ Academy, Law of Centre II Faulty of Law, School of Law, Delhi, S.S Jain Subodh Law College, University Five Year Law College, Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University etc. to name a few.Chief Guest for Inaugural Session was Dr. Dev Swarup, Vice-Chancellor of Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University and Guest of Honor was prof. A.P. Singh, Dean, USLLS, GGSIP University, Delhi.

There were 5 parallel preliminary sessions and each round had 2 judges. Judges of the Semi-final round were Mr. Pranshu Kaushal, Ad- hoc Legal Consultant, Rajya Sabha, and Ms. Vidhi Madaan Chaddha, Ph.D., FCS. Judges for the final round were Prof (Dr). Mithilesh Vishwakarma, Professor and Dr. Vijay Laxmi Sharma, Head of the Department of School of Law, Manipal University, Jaipur.

Chief Guest for Valedictory Session was Dr. Sanjula Thanvi, Dean University Law Department, Guest of Honor was Prof. Dr. Saroj Bohra, Director, Amity Law School, Amity University, Rajasthan.

Workshop under 'National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission'

Rajasthan School of Law for Women has organised an online workshop cum awareness program for the same under ‘National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission’ (Creative India, Innovative India) on 17th February, 2022. “Your INTELLECT is the most valuable property that you own” With the increasing focus on innovation, research and cross-border collaborations, there is need for the students to learn about “Intellectual Property Rights”.The guest speaker for the event were Ms. Chhavi Garg, Examiner of Patents & Designs Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Mr. Surajit Paul, Examiner of Patents & Designs Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Passion into Action

Rajasthan School of Law for Women, Jaipur organised a Book Review Competition “Passion into Action” on 8th January, 2022.  The guests of the event were Dr. Mini Nanda, Head and Member of University Senate and Resource Person to various Universities and Ms. Anshu Harsh, Author, Poet & Media Entrepreneur, Managing Trustee of RIFF FILM CLUB, Chairperson of THAR Sarvoday Sansthan, publisher Simply Jaipur and Regional head ‘Pick a Book’ Jaipur.  Winners of the event were:1. RSLW National Moot Court Training Workshop

The Moot Court Club of the college organized a National Moot Training workshop from 21st – 23rd October, 2021 to learn the art of mooting from experts. 6 session were taken by 6 experts on importance of mooting, memorial drafting, compendium preparation and courtroom mannerism. Justice V. S Dave ( retd) judge Rajasthan High Court was the Chief Guest for the workshop, Justice P.C Jain Retd. Judge Rajasthan High Court, Chairman, RSLW graced the workshop with his presence.

Pen and Paper Hub : My Pen, My Sword

On 19th June Book Review Club of Rajasthan school of law for women organized a writing competition titled as ” Pen and Paper Hub : My Pen , My sword”. It was a great opportunity for all the scribblers not able to come out of the notebooks . The chief guest and the judge for the event was Prof. Joya chakravarty former Dean, Faculty of Arts, Director School of Humanities, University of Rajasthan. The winners of the competition were 1st position by Shreya Chaudhary, 2nd by Hitaishee Sharma & 3rd position by Bhagyalxmi Sharma.
