Sports Day 2024

On 21st December 2024, the Sports Club of Kanoria School of Law for Women organized Annual Sports Day for the Students and Faculty. The event began with Flag hosting by Principal Ma’am Dr. Vartika Arora and with the official declaration of the opening of event by her. The day featured a mix of games like Jalebi race, 100 m race, Lemon race, Obstacle Race, Sack Race, Queen Race etc. Beyond fun and games, students have learnt valuable lessons like teamwork, decision making and resilience. At end of the event, the Medals were awarded to winners of each game. It was great opportunity for students to showcase their athletic skills and for the college community to come together and celebrate the importance of physical activity and sports.

Human Rights Day Celebration

On 10th December, 2024 : On International Human Rights Day the Student Union of Kanoria School of Law for Women, Jaipur, organized “Revisiting Human Rights: A Gen Z Initiative,” an event envisioned to redefine human rights for the contemporary Gen Z perspective. Moderated by Kanishka Verma and Niharika Singh Rajawat (Sem 3), the event featured Mr. Bhanwar Meghwanshi as the Chief Guest and Mr. Vinit Agarwal as the Guest of Honour. Both, alongside Principal Dr. Vartika Arora, served as esteemed judges.

On 10th December, 2024: On the occasion of Human Rights Day, 10 Dec, 2024, students of Kanoria school of law for women attended a programme organised by the Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission. The programme was co-ordinated by Dr. Sandhaya Yadav, RPS (Addl. S.P) and honoured by the presence of Sh. Ghanendra Bhan Chaturvedi, IAS (secretary) and Sh. Sanjay Kumar RHJS (Registrar). Dr. Anil Agarawal, Health specialist UNICEF addressed the session about Constitutional Children in India and Rights for women and children in India and schemes available protection of their rights in India. Dr. R. K. Chobisa, Retd. Prof. HCM, RIPA and Dr. Nikki Chaturvedi, HOD History, University of Rajasthan also enlightened the students with more information on the same topic. Two students of KSLW Ms. Jaspreet Kaur and Ms. Rudrakshi Sharma also shared their views on human rights. The programme was concluded  with Human Rights oath taken by everyone present at the session. Ms. Purnima Gautam Assistant Professor, KSLW coordinated the session.

Legal Aid Awareness Campaign - Second Visit

On 4th December, 2024: The Legal Aid Club of Kanoria School of Law for Women, Jaipur, for spreading awareness on the topic of “Sexual Harassment” staged a presentation and an evocative play titled “Varini” on 3rd December, 2024, at Maheshwari Girls Senior Secondary School, Jaipur. The event commenced with a meticulously crafted PowerPoint presentation

Following this, the centerpiece of the event—a compelling theatrical performance—shed light on the critical provisions of the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The play, imbued with powerful dialogues and emotive storytelling, not only underscored the importance of safeguarding legal rights but also fostered awareness about pivotal issues in the contemporary legal framework. This initiative stands as a testament to the club’s commitment to promoting legal literacy, leaving a lasting impression on the attendees and contributing significantly to the dissemination of knowledge about the legal landscape.

Constitution Day Celebration

On 26th November, 2024

  1. Kanoria School of Law for Women celebrated constitution day by a documentary screening on the making of the Indian Constitution to the students. This was followed by a discussion on the importance of constitution and its relevance in present context. The discussion encouraged students to critically engage with the Constitution, exploring both its strengths and limitations. November 26th, marks the adoption of the Indian Constitution by the Constituent Assembly in 1949. The activity conducted was designed to honor this historic occasion and to deepen our appreciation for the values of justice, equality, and liberty enshrined in the Constitution.
  2. Students from Kanoria School of Law for Women attended a distinguished sensitization program organized by Aasra Foundation Jaipur (AFJ), titled “Shielding Innocence, Upholding the Constitution: Pro bono Advocacy against Exploitation of Children.” The session delved into pressing issues such as child exploitation through labor, trafficking, and abuse, while highlighting the pivotal role of pro bono legal representation in protecting vulnerable children. The Chief Guest, Honorable Justice Ashok Kumar Jain, Rajasthan High Court provided profound insights on Indian Constitution. An eminent public prosecutor, renowned for expertise in POCSO cases delivered an insightful presentation. The program served as an enlightening platform to inspire future legal professionals in championing children’s rights.
  3. Kanoria School of Law for Women.and Grassroot Media co-hosted  Constitution Day event on November 26, 2024, at the Rajasthan Adult Education center ar Jhalana Institutional Area. Dr. Rajesh Methi of indic school of jurisprudence coordinated the event and Mr  Pramod Sharma of Grassroot Media provided an introduction. Dr. Sharad Kumar Vyas, ADJ Churu District and Secretary, District Legal Service Authority, joined the audience online to discuss how the constitution has helped to unite diverse India. Dr. Vartika Arora, Principal of Kanoria School of Law for Women, gave the keynote address on topic making of constitution and role of Constituent assembly debates. Students from Kanoria School of Law expressed their views on various topics of Constitution.

Quiz Competition

On 25th November, 2024 : Kanoria School of law for Women organised Canonical Quiz Competition. The object of the competition was to test the knowledge of the subjects they have studied. The overall competition was a joyous activity with all the teams ending up gaining more knowlege about the disciplines.

The topics of the competition for 1st and 3rd semester was English, Law of torts and Law of contract. The topic for  5th, 7th and 8th semester was Constitution of India, Political Science and English.

Total 30 teams participated in the competition.

Legal Aid Awareness Campaign

On 16th November, 2024: The Legal Aid Club of Kanoria School of Law for Women, Jaipur, presented a play titled “Varini” on 16 November, 24, at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 , Jaipur , the play highlighted crucial aspects of the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Acts. Students, Shubh Kanwar, Kanishka Verma, Akanksha, Rani Sharma, Tamanna Robert, Yashika Sharma, Chetna Singh, Ujjesha Tiwari and Pooja performed a scintillating play, delivering a compelling message on legal rights and protections. The audience, comprised mainly of students and faculty, responded enthusiastically, demonstrating deep engagement with the performance. This initiative effectively promoted legal awareness, Thus helped in enlightenment of students about legal landscape.

Fresher's Party 2024

On 25th October, 2024 : Kanoria School of Law for Women orchestrated Freshers 2024 with an enchanting Alice in Wonderland theme, the event was orhain under the cultural club, extending a grand welcome to the incoming batch of 2024-25. The occasion was graced by distinguished guest Ms. Nitasha Chordia, an esteemed entrepreneur and Director of Guman Impex Pvt Ltd. The program unfolded across three captivating rounds: a ramp walk, a talent showcase, and a Q&A session, each marked by enthusiastic participation from the students.

Poster Making on Indian Constitution and Non-Violence

On 22 October, 2024 : Kanoria School of Law for Women in collaboration with Rajasthan Jan Manch organised Poster making competition on the theme “Indian Constitution and non-violence”. The initiative aims to build a culture of non-violence by empowering individuals with knowledge, skills, and community support. Students eagerly participated, each bringing their unique perspectives and artistic skills.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration : Poster Making Competition

On 2nd October, 2024 college organised Poster Making Competition on the topic “Gandhi’s Perspective on Concept of Justice and Equality in Modern India”. This event aimed to honor the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi and promote his values of peace, non-violence, and social harmony. Participants were encouraged to explore and express Gandhi’s principles through their artistic creations, highlighting the relevance of his teachings in today’s world. The competition was judged by Dr. Manisha Mathur, Vice Principal, Kanoria College and Dr. Vartika Arora, Principal, Kanoria School of Law for Women.

Students enthusiastically participated in the competition. First position was held by Hiba Naaz, second by Dilpreet Kaur and third by Vidhi Joshi and Anushree Rajawat.

Teacher's Day Celebration : "Our Guiding Stars"

Kanoria School of Law for Women celebrated Teacher’s Day on 5th September 2024 on the theme of ‘Our Guiding Star’
The students presented ‘Token of Gratitude’ to the all the teachers as guiding stars of life.

Sports Week

As a part of sports week, Kanoria School of Law for Women engaged students in traditional as well as contemporary sports activities. Sports teaches life skills like making decisions under pressure, accepting consequences, and thinking quickly.
Students engaged outdoor sports like Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Sitolia etc.
Alingwith traditional games tgey also enjoyed playing Basketball, Badminton,Table Tennis, Carrom Board, Chess etc.

International Yoga Day

On June 21, 2024 the college on the momentous occasion of International Yoga Day  organised yoga session for the students. Throughout the session, the significance of yoga in promoting both physical fitness and mental clarity was underscored. Students eagerly participated, demonstrating their enthusiasm and eagerness to adopt yoga as part of their daily routines. The main session featured a variety of yoga asanas (postures) aimed at enhancing flexibility, strength, and inner peace including satvic movements. it served as a powerful reminder of the importance of self-care and mindfulness in student’s busy academic lives.

Organ Donation Awareness Campaign

On 20th May 2024 Kanoria School of Law For Women organised an ‘Organ Donation Awareness Campaign’ in the college campus. In this session, students were made aware about organ donation. This session demonstrates about what organ donation is and its lawful procedures and the Acts dealing with Organ Donation.
These acts were:
1. Transplantation of Human Organs Act 1994
2. Transplant Of Human Organs & Tissues Act 2011
3. Anatomy Act 1984
Types of Organ Donation:
1. Living Donor Organ Donation
2. Deceased -donor Organ Donation
This session was very informative for the students and through this session students also learned interesting facts about organ donation and the human body. They were also enlightened about the ages upto which a person can donate his or her organs.

Farewell 2024 - 'Hasta La Vista'

On 9th May 2024 In an emotionally surcharged atmosphere the students and teachers of Kanoria School of law for Women bid adieu to the students of 2019-2024 batch at a grand farewell function titled ‘Hasta la Vista’.
The students were welcomed with bouquets and warm hearts. The special guest for this event was Ms. Ruchika Krishniya Advocate Rajasthan High court. The event was graced with the presence Dr. Vartika Arora, Principal, KSLW. The programme was graced with singing, dance performances, ramp walk and fun games which made the programme entertaining and engaging.
The students of the passing out batch were awarded with the following titles:

Annual Day Celebration

On 8th May, 2024 Kanoria School of Law for Women celebrated its Annual Day with grandeur and splendor. The Annual Day festivities was graced by esteemed dignitaries Dr. Nishtha Jaswal Chairman – Vice-chancellor of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Honorable Justice Pana Chand Jain (Chairman – Kanoria School of Law for Women), Mr. Vimal Kumar Bhatia (Secretary – Kanoria Girls College Trust, Dr. Rekha Bhatnagar (Secretary- KSLW), Rashmi Chaturvedi (Director- Kanoria School of Law for Women), Dr. Seema Agarwal (Principal-Kanoria College), students, and parents.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the cultural extravaganza, where students displayed their proficiency and creativity through captivating performances. From mesmerizing folk dance and skit to soulful classical musical renditions, each act mesmerized the audience and showcased the diverse talents that flourish within the institution.
The Annual Day served as a platform to recognize and honor academic achievers and outstanding contributors to the institution.The Annual Day served as a reminder of the institution’s unwavering commitment to nurturing talent and foster excellence.

Republic Day

26th January, 2024: The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with solemnity and patriotic fervour at Rajasthan School of Law for Women on 26th January, 2024.The ceremony commenced with unfurling of National Flag and by the rendition of the National Anthem.

A play ‘AVHAAN‘ was staged by students showcasing laws related to women.

Personality Development Cum Theater Workshop

Rajasthan School of Law for Women organized 10 days “Personality Development Cum Theatre Workshop” from 16th January to 26th January 2024. The resource person for the Workshop was Theatre Artist, Mr. Harshvardhan Chaturvedi. Theatre can help people explore the unknown or discover your secret ability to express yourself. Furthermore, by overcoming the nervousness associated with performing in front of an audience, individuals feel better prepared to face any challenges in their professions. The workshop enabled students to express themselves and communicate through live theatre performances. The workshop included enhancing verbal and nonverbal expression of ideas, improving voice projection, articulation, language fluency, and persuasive speech.

Fresher's Party 2023

30th October, 2023: On 30th October, 2023 Rajasthan School of Law for Women organised Freshers 2023 in ‘The Oscars way’. The event marked a welcome to the batch of 2023-24 to the college.

Special guest for the event was Ms. Yashika Kumawat, Miss Asia World 2022.

The programme was held over 3 rounds, ramp walk, talent round and Q&A round in which the students participated wholeheartedly.

Gandhi Jayanti

2nd October, 2023: A cleanliness drive was organised by Rajasthan School of Law for Women in celebration of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October, 2023. To value the principle of ‘Cleanliness is godliness’, students and faculty members of the College gathered at Jawahar Circle to clean the park. The initiative was to create awareness among the students to save the environment and protect our planet.

Teacher's Day

5th September, 2023: Rajasthan School of Law for Women celebrated Teacher’s Day. The celebration aimed at recognising the unsung heroes ‘Teachers’. The event was graced by the Director, Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi, Principal, Dr. Vartika Arora and all the teachers of the college. The students presented ‘Token of Gratitude’ to the teachers and shared their experiences. The event was organised by the enthusiastic efforts of the students.

Independence Day

15th August, 2023: Rajasthan School of Law for Women celebrated 77th Independence Day on 15th August, 2023 with a lot of zeal and fervour.

Movie Screnning

14th August,2023: On 14th August 2023, the college has organised the screening of the movie ‘Article 15‘ on the occasion of Independence Day. A brief explanation of Article 15 of Constitution of India was given by Dr. Disha Bangarva and Ms. Tanya Agarwal has taken the students view points on the Movie. The students tried to correlate Article 15 with the movie and with the social setup of the country.

In an emotionally surcharged atmosphere, the students and teachers of Rajasthan School of law for Women bid adieu to the students of 2018-2023 batch at a grand farewell function titled ‘Hasta la Vista’ on 1st July 2023.

The students were welcomed with red roses and warm hearts. The special guest for this event was Ms. Prashansa Agrawal, Judicial Officer, Jaipur Metro City. The event was graced with the auspicious presence of Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi, Director, RSLW and Dr. Vartika Arora, Principal, RSLW. The programme was graced with singing, dance performances, ramp walk and fun games which made the programme entertaining and engaging. The annual magazine titles “Penning The Primes” – the Chronicle of RSLW was also launched in the event.

Yoga Day Celebration

“Through practice comes yoga, through yoga comes knowledge, through knowledge love and through love bliss”~ Swami Vivekananda.

Rajasthan School of law for Women celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2023. Through Yoga, one develops mindfulness, improves brain power, begins to heal, opens up the mental and emotional blockages, gives the body movement and encourages flexibility, improved breathing.

Republic Day Celebration

26th January, 2023: Republic Day is the day to show respect and love to all those who sacrificed something for this country. RSLW honoured and celebrated 74th Republic Day commemorating this with all the faculties, staff members and students.

Parents-Teacher Meet

12th January, 2023:  the college organized a Parents- Teacher Meet to inform parents about the overall performance of their ward and for their betterment. 

The Sampat Saral Show

8th December, 2022:  the college organized ‘The Sampat Saral Show’, a poetry session by Mr. Sampat Saral. The event was organised by Mr. Arshad Hussain who is known as the ‘Event Guru’ in collaboration with Rajasthan School of Law for Women Jaipur.

Constitution Day Celebration

26th November, 2022 : the college celebrated Constitution Day where all the students and teachers read the Preamble of the Constitution and revived their allegiance to the Constitution.

Fresher's Day 2022

The college organized Fresher’s Party 2022 on the theme of ‘Dazzling Disco’ to welcome the Batch of 2022-23 on 12th November, 2022. The judges for the event were Dr. Anju Chauhan and Ms. Deeksha Sharma. The event consisted of ramp walk, dance, music performances, and thrilling talent presentations and question- answer round.

Gandhi Jayanti

Rajasthan School of Law for Women celebrated Gandhi Jayanti. Students of first semester gave presentations on the ‘Importance of Gandhian values in today’s era’.

Independence Day Celebration

Rajasthan School of Law for Women celebrated 76th Independence Day under the ageis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Campaign and successfully executed the most exciting -Har Ghar Tiranga campaign by ensuring everyone’s participation on this auspicious occasion.

Plantation Drive and Slogan Writing

On 2nd August, 2022 Rajasthan School of Law for Women organized a plantation drive under the ageis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Campaign. A Slogan writing competition was also organized under the ageis Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

International Yoga Day

Rajasthan School of Law for Women, Jaipur celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2022 with great enthusiasm where a large number of students, teaching and non-teaching staff took part in the event.

Environment Day

June 5 is marked as the World Environment Day which call for action by governments, private organisations, civil society as well as individuals to protect the environment. Remembering the responsibility towards mother earth Rajasthan School of law for women organized a plantation drive Principal Dr. Vartika Arora, the teaching staff and the students gathered together for planting, keeping in mind the campaign slogan “Only One Earth” for World Environment Day 2022 that focuses on “Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature.”

Movie Screening

On 4th June, 2022 Rajasthan School of law for women organized a learning activity which includes screening of a movie “The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas“. It is based on the 2006 novel of John Boyne. Set in World War II, the Holocaust drama relates the horror of a Nazi extermination camp through the eyes of a young boy.

PTM

Rajasthan School of Law for Women organized Parents Teacher Meeting on 19th February, 2022 following all Covid-19 guidelines. The PTM was organized to inform parents about overall performance of their ward. There was an overall active interaction with parents and their wards. parents gave their feedback about their ward’s performances, hybrid classes and activities. The parents were satisfied with the efforts of the college.

Republic Day

73rd Republic Day celebrated by students and staff of the college on 26th January, 2022 by complying with social distancing and other covid-19 protocols.

Freshers' Day

The cultural club of Rajasthan School of Law for Women (RSLW) organized a Freshers’ Party on December 24 to welcome the Batch of 2021 on the theme of Friday Jubilee. Freshers showcased their talent by a stunning Ramp walk, various Dance performances like solo, Duo, Group dances. Talking about the ramp walk, it was conducted in two rounds. The former round was held for  the Sophomores, while the latter was for Juniors.

The title of Miss Fresher was given to Umera Sayed, Miss Runner Up was Ayushi Vashishta, and Miss Versatile was Daksheeja Sharma for year 2021. The title of Miss Fresher was given to Shreya Swami, Miss Runner Up was Daniya Roshan and Miss Versatile was Shubh Kanwar Rathore. The judges of this event  was  Ms. Vijeta Vyas Shah.

Law Day

On account of Law Day Rajasthan School of Law for Women in association with Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority organised a poster presentation competition for all the budding lawyers. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. Manoj Soni, District Judge and Secretary Legal Services, Rajasthan High court accompanied by judges of the event Ms. Toshita, Chief Judicial Magistrate and Deputy Secretary RALSA along with Mr. Ravikant Soni, Additional Magistrate , Deputy Secretary RALSA.

The winners of the competition were : First – Parul Rathore, Second – Zoya Khan and Mansi Tiwari, Third – Saloni Rahore and Shreya Choudhary, Fourth – Yashi Mudgal and Fifth – Daniya Roshan and Khushi Verma.

Gandhi Jayanti

“Action Expresses Priorities”. When restraint and courtesy are added to strength, the latter becomes irresistible. On 2nd October 2021 Cultural Club of Rajasthan school of law for women celebrated “Gandhi Jayanti“. The aim was to enlighten the “Importance and Relevance of Gandhian Principles in 21st Century”.
